Default TX Region SCCA Event #2 - Better Conditions this time! (04/02/06)

Since POS is headed to Arkansas with a few others, I'll get another one of these started!

Who's staying local to play at Pennington Field this weekend?

I don't trust the weather forecast 7 days out, but it's got to be better than last weekend....

    I'm in, if I still have a co-driver.

I might actually have a Sunday off work. If so, I'm in!

Did you buy a car? Who's codriving your car? Oh wait, you mean you want to be a codriver - you need a ride!

    I'm in!

Hey Solo RX-7, will last year's trophies be at this event?

Yes - last year's trophies are all in the trailer. In fact I moved them a couple times this weekend while we were working on the trailer. There's even a few from 2004 still in there...

That was my secret weapon for the event! I was going to be on time and everybody else was going to be late.

I guess I'll be getting there at 5:30am according to the body clock....

Is this some kind of April Fool's joke...?

I'll be there if I can get my sorry a$$ out of bed that early.

Man, I'm going to make it out one of these days so I can see all the cool stuff on your car but I can't make it this weekend.

I might make it out.... but I also might be in Austin for the weekend, who knows!

And it's times like these that I'm glad I use my computer as an alarm clock and not an actual clock. Auto-update clock for the win.

All that the car needs now is a decent driver

The chance of rain has gone down, but the high went up. I'll have sunblock on stand by.

It felt good to get out an AX again, seemed like it had been forever! Congrats to Majik (bastard) for winning street tire today. Lost216 took 2nd and I took 3rd.

The new and improved 52 CSP car showed today and Mark52 took first in his class. Congrats!

There were 109 drivers today and we all got 5 (that's not a typo) runs on a 50-second course. All in all it was a fun event with very few problems and delays.
