NC Seats - how are they?

I'm considering a new NC Miata with leather. During the test drive I noticed the seats felt a bit more snug, and the raised part of the sides seemed higher. I guess I'm not skinny enough since my legs end up on top of the raised sides.

My '01 Miata has cloth, and maybe the seat foam is worn down a bit. Can someone with an '06 tell me how the seats feel on longer drives?

I drove an NC 200+ miles and had the same issues with the seats. My parents weren't bothered by them, but my thighs hurt after about 75 miles. I hated them.
