Safest way is in your microwave. How big is it?

    Yep... microwave...

For a 1 lb block... put it in your microwave on it's lowest setting for about 4 minutes, then turn it over and give it another 4 minutes on it's lowest setting and then check.

(or at least that is what my microwave recommends)

lol i was making spaghetti, and had 30 minutes. we had fun throwing noodles around "to see if its done" i just threw the ground beef into the pan and brokeit up. there was waaay too much meat -1lb 80/20 ground beef. 1 tall jar of tomato (boscoli?) sauce, diced onion, and seasoning. so i made another 1/4lb of spaghetti. since there was 2 batches of noodles, they kinda stuck together. we got 2 big bowls, the noodles was in 2 clumps by the time we were done, one clump each, and more than enough sauce and meat to eat with. after that giant bowl, and a beer, i just fell asleep on the couch and my brother left. about 12 hours later, i woke up hungry.

Rinse the noodles after cooking and you'll lose the extra starch that causes that.
