Thread: Holy misfire, Batman!

    Default Holy misfire, Batman!

In today's damp continuous drizzle, my car decides to start acting up in slow stop-n-go driving. I've had damp ignitions before so that's as much diagnostic time as I'm going to spend on it.

Where's a good TCB approved source for ignition wires?

NGK blues, around $35 a set.

The non-CB deal is Magnecore. Then again, they last forever. I have never had to replace them in 4 years. If I do, they also have a lifetime warranty.

I just kept stopping at Autozones and the like on the way down to the Hill Country until I found a set in stock. Also got them to check the codes and surprise, there was misfire detected. Hurrah to the Autozone in Copperas Cove!

Are there any decent blue colored wires for an '03? I can't seem to find any but red or black.

Magnecor makes some, they are not cheap for 2 wires..... I replaced the ones on the '02 with OEMs.

I am going over to TDR on Saturday and will probably pick up a set and some new plugs. I did everything else for the 30K except change these out.
