    Default GT3 - Time Trial #1 Challenge

    I had a topic earlier about driving sims, and I ended up getting the PS2, and GT3 at Blockbuster (used for $15 - CB deal!). Anyone into that game should check out www.gt3times.com to see how your scores rank with the best..

    My track I have been assaulting is time trial #1, and the best I have so far is 1:24.37. (challenge here - beat this if you can!)

    Interesting note: it seems that many of the best times on that site are done with the dual shock controller and not with a wheel.

    GT4 is coming out in the next month or two, and will have online racing, so you guys get ready - there will be some challenges issued!
    SOLD: 92 silver w/hardtop, voodoo, Kosei wheels, pine tree air freshener, and some JR stuff.
    SOLD: 99 silver; the old Goodwin supercharged car with gobs of power and everything else on it.
    SOLD: 95 triple black; stock
    SOLD: 99 black and tan; loaded and clean; just hit 50k miles.

    How about a in person GT3 dfwmiata tourney?

    I'm definatly game for a Nurburing online racing challenge in the future.

    Sounds cool. In that one time trial, they select the car for you, so you can't choose. It's the Lotus Elise for that particular one. The default score to beat is 1:25.something....

    Darn. That didn't take long. I will work on catching that score now. The 2nd time trial is a different track in a newer Miata, and I'll start trying that one out next. I don't have a good time on that yet...

    Sonofabitch......1:23.967....this is going to bother me.....

    Interestingly enough...that time came on the 3rd beer...I fell off after that. I'm not sure if it was due to frustration or the 4th beer.....

    TC: Great times. I've played for hours and hours on that track. I've found that getting the licenses helps a lot on the corners... Steering wheel???

    Logitech Force Feedback, but I'm about .2 seconds slower with the wheel on almost every course... I think it's primarily because I'm much more relaxed while driving with the dualshock.
