Smile Video, How Not to Autocross

After he hit the trees for the third time they still let him run their events. Mustang running OKC PCA events. NTSW language.

I don't think I have laughed at someone's driving that much in a long time.
Think it would be scary to be a corner worker and he came up to the line. But I give him an "A" for effort as he did not quit and did get a little better after the third tree. ha ha ha

Found this on the RX-8 board. Hope this is not a repost.

The stang sounds like it's built for the 1320 and not AX.

I am by no means an expert or novice AXer but here are my suggestions to the driver:
    1. The throttle is not a ON/OFF switch.
    2. The road to speed begins with handling not HP.
    3. Get sticky tires. Some thing in the 305 R compund range might help.
    4. Work on finishing without going into fences and trees. Then work on improving your time.

    ROFL! That was great.

He actually looked like he was going to have a decent run at the very end before he locked up the brakes and slid into the grass. The funniest thing is at the very end he was all pissed that he got mud on the car (as if the trees in the radiator weren't a big deal).

At least the guy driving the truck kept it on the course.

The mustang is a prime example of too much car with not enough experience.

I found that too painful to watch, but I know his problem:

He was wearing Mechanix Gloves while driving. He wanted to work on the car some more.

    Geez....

Ham fisted steering and a numb foot on the floor... Let's pray he doesn't drive on wet or icy streets in that car. It obviously only has 2 settings... no fuel or full fuel.
