    Default new here

    hey people.

i came here b/c i had some questions and someone from miata.net referred me here.

i currently go to UNT and i see a bunch of miatas up there. i was just wondering how many of them are registered on here or other miata forums.

it'd be cool to meet some of you guys/girls. a lot of the miatas i see are real clean and nice.

    Welcome!

I'm just south of the lake from you... If you need a tech day let us know, I'd be happy to host it in my driveway. (Sorry, but the garage is full of other hobbies...)

The spousal unit is an alumnus of UNT with a Masters in Secondary Education. (Also TWU for her Masters in History)

Welcome, attraktion. The tech day offer is real, several members will usually be willing to help.

channelmaniac, since you know your wife is an alumnus, you obviously learned something in your Latin classes.
Just a pet peeve of mine. I have even seen a T-shirt that said "I am an alumni of Texas A&M." No joke.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    Welcome,

Tech days are fun. A bunch of guys standing around critiquing your work. :) making snide comments. Genreral BS. But it's nice when you hose up and there is someone there with a bit of knowledge to put you back on the right path.

Welcome to the group, attraktion! You'll find a lot of very helpful, friendly folks in this group who, as you can read, are more than happy to hang out & fix up cars. It's a great education!

If we want to get all technical on the mostly dead languages, alumnus is masculine. Alumna would be the better choice for someone of the feminine persuasion. The A&M shirt likely is a joke, actually...

I figure since this site already has a spellcheck member or three, I can be the Latin geek.
