Cool. Long story with him... his parents let him take their new (then) Hyundai Accent to school with him to Waco. While he was there, a guy from his church gave him a Nissan Frontier (1998 I think). His parents took the truck from him, their excuse being that he didn't know how to drive a stick (which he did, he was new, but he did). Well, the Hyundai is now falling apart (EVERYTHING is) and is undriveable (it tops out about 35mph). But... turns out his dad hit a deer with the pickup and tore up a bunch of stuff on the front, and now my roommate has to pay for it so he can get it up here to drive it (it'll cost about $1500). He's ticked about it, obviously. He's now considering a Miata and I'm pushing him to get one. Far fewer headaches

So he's looking for a cheap one.
