Wasn’t there some talk about doing an annual tech for SCCA?

    What does that mean?
    • - If I get teched that day, I don't have to get teched at each individual event throughout the season?
      - If I don't get teched that day, I won't be allowed to run any events during the season?
      - Please come out and waste your time so that we can tech your car for no reason? :P

If Juan "Fangio" G. has much to do with it, I'm gonna lean toward option choice #3. Ask me Saturday.

That's what I was figuring. It doesn't make sense to tech a car for an entire season, since they can easily change throughout that time frame. It doesn't follow that you'd have to be there, since that would eliminate any walk-ups at an event. So what I was driving at was, is there any real reason to show up to get "teched" at that meeting at all? Sounds like there probably isn't any real reason to go, but I'll wait for your definitive information this Saturday. Thanks for checking into this for us...

To my understanding, the options are:

    1. Get your car pre-teched, and fill out a form at each event with your "buddy", plus have a lovely new sticker affixed inside your windshield
    2. Proceed as in years past

Where are you guy's getting this information about Annual Tech? The powers at be have not said anything about posting this information on the regions website much less the terms and conditions.

Why is it that newsletter editors and webmasters are the last to be told anything.

Forget what I posted about being the last to know. Guess the root of the problem goes back to abondon email addresses I use to use. And no they don't bounce. Had not heard about John G. constructive comments. Anyway look for the school details, test and tune on the website. I will post something about the annual tech when someone writes down the condtions and sends them to me.

I don't think the conditions have been written down yet... I'm guessing there's at least some chance that will happen at the March board meeting.

That or there will be yelling. We'll see.

Speaking of the March board meeting, I got Tom's email, but haven't got the faintest idea where that motel is, nor what the "same time" is. Care to help me out so I can actually make it to this board meeting?

Click on any of the "Super 8 Motel" links from http://autocross.com/texasregion/... 7:00 pm for chit-chat, meeting should start by 7:30 and will be over by 8:30. Mexican across the highway afterwards, I understand.
