Thread: Shocks On!

    Default Shocks On!

Thanks to jrj512 for hosting a successful shock tech day yesterday morning. TedtheRed sacrificed valuable diaper changing bonding time to be the first one there.
Thanks to Samm & POS Racing, for your help. Mr. Miatamoto, proving there's no such thing as 'too fashionably late', was there in time to supervise the critical center wheel cap installation . But what a difference between the Tokicos and the 158000 mile stocks!

The whole job was complete in just under three hours, plus we learned the secret ingredient of jrj512's BBQ sauce! (hint: one of the B's stands for brakefluid!)

Caravaned over to Red ThrobbinTM for lunch afterwards. Sadly, we were all too full for any trunk stuffing contests.

Now you know how I felt when changing from 162000 mile stockers to AGX 8-ways

Of course you don't have to put up with Ebay coilovers for a month though, so I've got ya beat on that

Nice work! Did you put springs on too, or just shocks?

JR, you should take up a colection and install a lift in your garage. Be a lot easier then puttin all those cars up on jack stands.

Nice work. Again I got to miss the fun because of work.

You more likely to have successful "trunk stuffing" if I am present.

Glad to see that you're no longer ridin' dirty.(aka "on the bumpstops")

I've been curious to know how the Tokico's ride, even though I have the TEIN FLEX. Tokico's were pretty popular for drifting a few years ago.

    Default AGX 8-ways

I've ordered a set of AGX 8-ways...should be in this week. I have a set of lowering springs from Suspension Techniques I bought from an individual on miata.net. I'd be curious to how you've experimented with your adjustments...?

I'm still dicking around looking for springs, and I ran across this package at Goodwin Racing... anyone got experience with a set?
