    Default Mbc

I found a DIY guide for a manual boost controller... seems pretty simple
to make and inexpensive. Has anyone here tried one? I've only heard of one miata person running this MBC and she said after 12psi the thing would freak out and it got all the way to 17psi in one of those spikes... hmmm... thats where things start going boom.

You can build your own with parts from home depot but the valving isn't very sophisticated. I would highly reccomend getting one with the bearing open/close valve system like a hallman. They're only 40 bucks and a bit more sophisticated/safer. To me 40 bucks is worth not getting a random 2 bar spike and blowing everything up.
