If it was me I'd have the newbies do the Track Dog Racing Track Day at MSR - June 23rd event first, that way you could see who you would actually want to invite.

I'm not a noob and I'm not making claims, but if someone wants to take me to the track with them I wouldn't turn it down.

isn't a Noob. He's obviously not rusty either after the times he posted at Hallett.

    Awesome! Thanks Tim!

Hope the weather is good. The forecast doesn't look promising at the track on Saturday.

OK, here's how it works. Members can invite one guest per month and must pay the session fees for the guest. Soooo, if you are a guest, you pay the member $25 for each session you want to run. Typically we can get in four sessions a day, maybe more if there aren't too many bikes, karts, and/or open-wheel cars. You must have a Snell helmet and a fire suit, each can be rented for a nominal fee. And, yes, you need a driver's license I think that's it. If I missed anything, chime in members, and pick your noobie soon, so we can all have some fun!

P.S. Noobies might want to "sweet talk" a member or two.......or maybe a bribe.......

Tim and I are doing the APEX event this saturday, May 12th. That was sarcasm between us.
I am still very much interested in going to MSR with a group of miatas.

Oh man Merv, what an offer! What a bad date though.

I will be out of town that weekend (June 1-3). It's our anniv. and we'll be in Phoenix. I would LOVE to run MSR again sometime soon, but can't make it that weekend ... DAMN YOU!!!!

OK, so you joined in 2005, but you haven't posted in a long time.......NUBIE!

Maybe we can try another weekend. I'll give you a chhoice by track configuration and we'll find one that fits:

    1.7 CCW (normal)
    1.7 CW (backwards)
    1.3
    3.1

I've never run the 3.1 yet, so we can learn together, or whatever you like. The 1.3 is a hoot with the elevation chamges. Are you coming down for the TDR event?

Agreed! The 3.1 is best!!! I've done it CCW. I've been told that the 1.3 section clockwise is not for noobs, due to the downhill hairpin going into the bottom passing zone.

I'd love to get in on some MSR action. The nice thing about running at Hallett is not embarrassing myself in front of anyone I know...lol.

1.3 & 3.1 CCW would be awesome since I have not even seen the new section in person yet. I might kill myself, but it sure sounds fun.

Like I mentioned, I am out of town that 1st weekend in June and I will also be out of town the 1st week in July. I think other than that I have a pretty open schedule.

When is the TDR event again? Are you going to come up for the next Miata's at Hallett?
