Thread: Time for new floor mats

  1. #1

Default Time for new floor mats

My driver side floor mat is shot. Time to get some new ones.

    Option #1

    Black with Red Roadster logo

    Option #2

Mazdaspeed mats - Goodwin says they work for 90-05 but Moss says 01-05 only. I think Magma has these. Might need to try them out Wednesday night.

    Option #3?

Suggestions (No Walmart mats! Must be designed for the Miata)
    ...and across the line.

I believe the roadster ones are the same as my "Miata" ones, as I got them before Mazda started cracking down on the name usage. The only thing I don't like is that in direct sunlight with some sunglasses, they look WAY different then the rest of the carpet.. almost purple.

Wonder why nobody makes/sales the factory style ones with Miata on them instead of Roadster? If they do I haven't come across it. I would prefer the Miata logo but don't even want to see a price from the stealership!

Used to be a non-issue but Mazda decided to get tough with the licensing of the Miata logo.

Check these out from Rosenthal Mazda. I assume they're factory mats, and only $59.95! I'll probably order some soon, or go over to Town North and see if they'll match that price (they've matched some pretty ridiculous stuff for me before).

    Default car-make-corns or karosim

i can highly recommend the checkered mats from corns or karoism
, you can get the corns from tetsuyagarage, i´ve paid 75£ incl. s&h to germany

    heres a link to tetsuya:

the karoism are much more expensive, iirc about 200£ incl. s&h

car make corns (explicit for rhd-cars, but these fit in my lhd-5 fine, too

I'm always too dirty or greasy to keep mine clean! Luckily, mine are not OEM mats. I'll probably remove my interior at some point in the not to distant future.
I'm happy to see that someone can make mats last!!!

Now, if you're looking for a little more pizzazz, then you can always go with big cat prints...

I'll take em. Great father's day present for dad. I guess since he has an M1 and M2 it won't matter if they're different.
