Road Rally in Grand Prairie on July 7
The 5th event in the SCCA Regional RoadRally Series will be held Saturday, July 7th, beginning at 10am. No prior rally experience is required. The Start and Finish will be at Turner Park in Grand Prairie, near the intersection of I-30 and Belt Line Road.
The event will be a typical gimmick rally, with various scoring opportunities to be found along the mostly-country-road route.

It's a pleasant drive in the country with some competition involved, All you need is a car, a second person (the “navigator”), proof of insurance and license, a clipboard and a pencil. The rally is all on road,but I haven't seen the course myself, so I can't say there aren't a couple of rough spots. The event was checked by a 1964 Mini and a Miata, and neither of them complained about a rough course. The Mini driver said: "WOW ... the pre-run was fantastic!!! (especially the VERY HILLY part ... gotta love those apexes) :~) YeeeeeHawwwww".
