I'm in also. Somebody refresh my memory, is the surface of the road course fairly grippy? Or is it more like MW without the loose gravel?
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

I remembered it being as pretty good, definetely NOWHERE near as abrasive as MW. I'm still on the fence as to whether to sign up, it'd be my first SCCA event and there's a BMW and S2000 one in the same month

I can't register until this Friday. I hope there is still a spot open for me then.

I believe the cap is 150, not counting the SAE kids, so register early and often!

The surface is very grippy, but without the Mineral Wells marbles. Heck, it's a real race track instead of a parking lot or chopper tarmac.

Yes the SAE will be out in force. It looks like there will be over 30 drivers in the SAE cars. They will be spread out over the whole day, I believe.

    And in 5 cars.

    Ok, 10 cars.

But don't let that keep you from coming out. It's a unique event and it will be fun.

We might even have the new car there.
