Hernia Surgery Monday 8/6
I turned 50 and my body fell apart for the second time. (The first time was when I turned 40.)
I’m having surgery to repair an inguinal hernia Monday 8/6 at 8:30. I’ll be out of work no more than 4 weeks, but I’ve got 4 weeks approved just in case. It hurts likewhen I cough and I’ve had it for quite a while I think. The good news is with my back surgery in February, I’ve reached maximum out-of-pocket expense for this year, so everything is covered by insurance at 100%.
I may be out of touch for a few days. It all depends how bad it hurts to sit and type. (I hope I can still drive!)

Good luck with the operation. Make sure you do the rehab. I had my second hernia when i was 22 or 23 because I dind't think I needed the rehab. Even though I didn't do anything strenuous for nearly a year (working out lifting ect.) I still blew it back out. And its worse the second time around.
