Next AX try a bunch of different gauges and use the one of yours closest to the average. My money is on the Acutire.
I've got four in front of me and they're all reading something different, ranging from 34lbs to 47lbs, all on the same tire.
Victor brand, dial guage - 34lbs (this is the gauge I always use)
Slime brand, dial gauge w/ release valve - 47lbs (just bought this today at Vatozone)
Accutire brand, pen style w/ digital readout - 44.5lbs
No brand, pen style, old school analog - 41lbs
So I think it's safe to say my usual gauge is understating the pressure significantly, which means i've been daily driving on some ridiculous PSI and autocrossing on some even more ridiculous PSI.
Any recommendations?
