Is that going to be factory issue in the US?! I like it!
I'm speechless. This is from Honda's UK website. It's official.![]()

That looks like it's modeled after alot of the custom interior/dash jobs we've all seen in the past.
Me too. It looks kinda 'Elise-ish'.Originally Posted by POS Racing

My first reaction was horror, but I think it might grow on me, just have to see. I defniitely like the large screen nav system.

The Elise interior, I think, is more business like.
Exactly. The super-modern look takes a bit to catch on with me. The Elise is really down-to-earth.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

A hot hatch with an 8,000 rpm limit, nice nav (for that extra bling!) and a cool but not over-the-top interior? If they'd just fix the wrong wheel drive thing, I might be tempted...

No arguments there. Regardless of style, the Civic has always been (and will apparently continue to be) a nice, cost-effective ride.Originally Posted by Kestrel

I like it. Its a little busy though. Are they going corporate wide with the Rally style shifter?
Very Star Trek....There is something about that steering wheel I don't like...maybe the silver surrounding it..other than that it's cool.![]()
No more Miata
The Steering wheel with Silver has already been done by Honda.Originally Posted by jolberry

If you look at this pic that Chuck posted, it looks like some of the ideas got dumped... that tach doesn't look digital anymore, and the general feel is a little more subdued.Originally Posted by srivendel

Im not too crazy about the 2 tier gauge setup, seems very unsportscar like, it might get pretty annoying, unless your just driving it to the grocery store. But its different, & thats what Honda likes to do.
Rest of the car is very nice, aside from being bigger of course. Ill test drive one when they come out, but I doubt that I would ever buy one. The other day out of nowhere my wife told me she saw a Mitsubishi Evo & thought it would be a nice kid hauler a few years down the roadMan, im lucky
If only I could afford one...

You know, the more I look at it -- especailly the "toned down" version right above, the more I like it. The big tack is pretty sweet, and using a small digital speedo was a nice way of giving it a "race" look (big tach, no speedo) while still giving you what you need for the street.
The big difference for me is the analog tach.
I may have to eat my words. Doesn't look so bad!
