It is pretty bad. It is to the point that Crazy Red had to pound the socket on and off the bolt with a hammer. Even then, it still slipped. I guess someone with the right skills and tools could grind the head down a little and try a smaller socket. If I have a chance, I will take a pic of it this evening.

Very interesting! If you don't get it and come over, I may just need to spend your beer money on it.

Sam, Mick....you guys are the GREATEST! I was able to strip and reinstall the interior by 8pm. Cloroxed the he## outta that floorboard and Lysoled the underside of the carpet. Now, instead of the moldy smell, I've got the bleachy freshness scent for about 4 days. Happiness is mine again. :)

    Thanks a million!!

Yea what Sammm said! That sucker was tight but it was no match for Sammm!

Really liked your car TroyAndEddie! The 10AE blue top looked sweet on your Laguna Blue Miata!

I, uh, wrecked that car before I could get a chance to try anything else. My next step was to try drilling them out. Luckily, my 93 doesn't have the bolt problem.

One thing you could try is penetrating oil on the top-side and bottom-side of the bolts, but you'll have to figure out where to scrape away the spray-on stuff off the bottom, and you'll have to be fairly accurate in guessing where to scrape.
