    Default Last Will & Testament

Is it really worth going to a lawyer to have a will written?

Several friends bought software that claims to be as good and valid as what a lawyer can do. I asked the lawyer who handled my last divorce about this, and she said the software might be OK, but there was more to a will than the document. Brenda's position is that the hard part is deciding what we have and who will get it. She says whether we use a lawyer or not, we'll do all the work, and she doesn't see the benefit of paying some lawyer $600.

If you have the answer or can direct us to an impartial source, I would appreciate your input.

We do have a few members here that have actually passed the bar... I would PM one of them.

    That's not very nice

Wait... in what sense do you mean that? Do you mean our legacies? If so, then you're probably right
