I saw that on CL the other day and was wondering if it was yours... I figured that couldn't be too many people in the area with a Winning Blue RX8 and a Miata.

True enough, I'm not desperate to sell but I've had my eye on something else for a while.

Is her name Elise? Has she been whispering sweet nothings in your ear?

I think the bone stock price is very good considering the mileage and options.

I don't know if you would be able to get how much you are asking out of the mods.

Remember, I wanted to buy your car but you weren't interested at the time.

Thanks, and you don't have to remind me again. Afterall you wouldn't have wanted a knock off blue/gold STi schemed snoop dog B stock ride.

I'm contemplating trying Carmax, or maybe actually putting it on autotrader.

Don't bother with Carmax. It's almost always a waste of time. They'll say it looks perfect and the mileage is very low, we'll give you wholesale value for the car!

    Just put it on autotrader.

The Carmax website says to use Kelly Blue Book trade in value as a guide for approximate value. Plugging your info into the KB calculator, I get:
    Excellent $16,550
    Good $15,605

That's pretty good in this case. I was offered 11k for the TT by carmax and sold it for 15k. I was offered 3k for my old Integra by carmax and sold it for 6k. YMMV.

Ditto my '93 RX-7... Carmax offered me $7500, the appraiser called me personally after work and offered me $9k (), and I sold it a week later for $13.5k.

Bump, car is now on autotrader and extra set of autocross wheels/tires are gone. Asking $18,500 for the car as it sits. One of you guys have to be starting a family or need a bigger car for some reason right?

Back from the dead, I'm really motivated to sell it and will take 18 with the Konis and springs as is. If any of you or your friends are interested call me directly. $100 finders fee still applies.
