I thought you liked the smell of rubber.

What would happen if you came home with the smell of another women on you? I know Mrs. Squeaky would not be too happy with me.

I've been to your house. Tire store smell would be an improvement! (Might cover up that latex odor)

So which Falkens are you getting? 512, 912, etc...512's seem to have some mixed reviews/complaints.

For autocrossing, you want to go with the Azenis 615.

I have the Ziex 512 on my Acura and really like them. Since you're not racing, you might like these, too, if they have them in your size.

Or the 912 which I believe is the updated version of the 512 for nearly the same price. I priced a set yesterday at 125 shipped in 195/60/14.

If you get a set of wheel and tire, you will get $200 off the combo. With free mounting, balancing and shipping.

So you might end up paying around $200 for a extra set of wheels after you subtract the mounting and balancing cost at your local tire shop.

You don't have to wait till the next time. Apparently most Falkens are now on back order thanks to this offer. So rather than pay now, have them shipped to me 3 weeks from now, then store them, then take them to be mounted and balanced...

I went to the local Discount store, put down a $50 deposit and got the same price as the online special. When they arrive at the store I'll have 'em put on then and pay the balance. TTL mounted, lifetime balance etc...was $188.40 for the new Ziex 912's. 195x60x14

hopefully they'll give me more than 2/10ths at hallett...lol. If that doesn't work, maybe more HP will help. I have a feeling that track days are going to be somewhat more frightening now with all the additional grip.
