Default Car shopping sites (used cars)...

Everyone knows about ebay and cars.com, but where else do you keep an eye open for good deals on cars??

I have recently started following craigslist.com in the Dallas area, and there seems to be a lot of decent deals there, plus I think you can post for free there. Currently a 90 Vette with 52k miles for just over $10k and some decently priced used trucks....
SOLD: 92 silver w/hardtop, voodoo, Kosei wheels, pine tree air freshener, and some JR stuff.
SOLD: 99 silver; the old Goodwin supercharged car with gobs of power and everything else on it.
    SOLD: 95 triple black; stock
SOLD: 99 black and tan; loaded and clean; just hit 50k miles.
SOLD: 2006 Copper Mica Red; stock.
FOR SALE: 2007 Galaxy Grey Grand Touring; stock; 38k miles.

I just checked out CRAIGSLIST.ORG yesterday as a matter of fact! AUTOTRADER.COM is one you didn't mention.

autotrader.com is a good one. Better search options than cars.com, imho.

I've found my last two cars online - the RX7 I found on autotrader.com, and the Miata I found on cars.com.

found my 2nd 7 on ebay (stiil own it)
    sold may dakota on it
found the protege and sold the protege of it

that pretty much sums it up... for awhile there I was trying to just get a subscription to the magazine (there's more cars in teh paper copy you get at teh gas station than listed online.)

    Autotrader is mine too...

Forgot to mention I also sold the notorious RX-7 on autotrader.com. I got over 40 interested phone calls/emails - from as far away as Utah! - within the first week. A guy from Detroit ended up flying down and driving it back (brave soul ), after wiring me a deposit.
