Other than that, I'll get an allignment and spend some quality time on a dyno before the season starts, and I'll be good to go.
I've got just the right intake design for you:

Yes, do it! No one will think you're cool unless you do it.

Maybe Sandy Claws will bring me one!
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

I am working on sorting out the suspension to get rid of some of that rake. That and piece together the rest of my 1.8 swap. I doubt I will get it done this off season but I might have it all gathered and ready to drop in at the end of 08.

Cool! Are you going to share it with your son at the autocross?

I look forward to seeing it.

It is a base Boxster 2.7 240 HP, One step at a time.
Chris has driven it and had no problem testing the 0 to 60 claim. I am sure I will auto X it but a set of rims and tires will be a touch more expensive than the Miata. Maybe when Momma's not looking. It is getting hard to hide all the tires.

I've got 2 words for you. Public Storage! A 5x5 climate controlled unit can be had for about $25 a month.... should be plenty of space for several sets of tires, and a bill and key is much easier to hide from the Mrs.

haha this is going to sound really bad, but my brother bought my trusty civic some red H emblems for xmas. as of 8:33pm today, they're still sitting on my desk. but once mounted, they should give me ungodly racing skillz right?

but i do plan on mounting a fresh set of 615's soon...maybe bumped up a size or two.

Run outside of Novice and you will be in for a rude awakening. Have fun playing with NealB.

It is fun to have someone to catch, so you should look forward to it... and come to races at other venues!

Yes, don't do it. Search for DG's secrets of solo on scca forums. That's Dennis grant.

I'd be happy to tell you for free what Iain would charge

EDIT: Traded in Bass Boat Green RX-8 for Bannana Boat Yellow RX-8.

Yeah, I decided against messing with the shocks and managed to get Iain's secret spring recipe. I think I'll pass on that too. Sounds like too much work.

Also sounds like a good way to cheat. IMHO.

It's not cheating if there isn't a free length spec in the service manual.

Seriously though, although JG's idea sounded interesting, I couldn't have done it with a clean conscience.
