Default Facelifted '09 RX-8 debuts at Detriot Auto Show

    Hmm...

I don't know if the exterior is an improvement over the current car or not, but I dig the optional Recaros!

Other than that, not much to write home about. Some minor suspension tweaks, a revised rear-end ratio to improve acceleration a little bit, and an "R3 Package" that includes the gunmetal finish 19" wheels seen above (19" wheels? ), Bilstein shocks, those yummy Recaros, and a 300W Bluetooth stereo.

Meh. I'll keep mine. But I would like to get my hands on a pair of those seats...

I like the fact that I don't see a single rotary styling accent.

Do I see teeth in the front grille? I look at the front and I swear it's saying "I like to eat small children!"

The front view is sexy, but I can't get past the side view front fender wagon-wheel lines.

I will deffinetly second that motion. But I think I like the current tail lights a little more.

Is there an option where you can get the go fast goodies minus the 19" boat anchors?

    That's funny!

Who says homeschooled kids don't get enough socialization?

I think it looks worse than the current car, except the Recaro. It is like putting lipstick on a pig! I dont' mean the current car is a pig. The designer just ran out of thing to improve upon the original design! Why Mazda not putting the money in improving the car than on some stupid styling exercise!
