Thread: Speedometer cable install question

    Default Speedometer cable install question

Anybody had any luck installing a new speedo cable without pulling the gauge cluster? Can this even be done?

EDIT: Eh... crap... never mind. I didn't notice the little shield around where the cable plugs into the cluster.

I seem to recall someone on the pointy board saying they had done it before. You'd have to have some nimble little hands I would think.

Very nimble and very little - like little monkey hands.
