    Default Way to go BB!

I liked driving my gf's 99 AE so much I decided to get one and I agree that the NC is quite an improvement. Now if the aftermarket will just catch up.
Congrats on your new ride. Love the color choice.

    Well said!!!

I am still trying to get used to the 6 speed...it seems pretty odd with reverse being on the other side of the spectrum,...shifting is fun

Congrats, the NC I drove seemed like it had a lot more body roll than my NA but it could've been the tires.

If there's one thing NOT to eff with on the NC, it's the interior!

I drove one a while back and thought it was waaaaaay smoooooooth - a whole different animal compared to my '94 (good news/bad news, of course... ).

Congrats on your 21st century Miata!

Congrats on the car, i drove an Nc but it had springs on it so i don't know how they drive stock. It did feel like the chassis was a lot stiffer as i didn't feel every bump like you do in the NB. Also all the little quirks the previous generations had it doesn't. What i don't understand on the NC is the gauge hood has a big gap between it and the dash right Thomas?

Billy, yer makin' us nervous. Go read Majik's post again... and enjoy your bone-stock, under warranty, actually works, Miata (i.e. learn from past... experience... grasshopper). No ghost flames, blowers, ejector seats, or rocket launchers for you...

Thanks for pointing that out to me!!!

Congrats Billy! Don't mess with it and enjoy driving it! I think the NC makes a great daily driver but would definitely take some work to make it feel as nimble as a NA/NB. The good think is that it still feels like a Miata, it doesn't feel big or heavy.

    Thanks guys.

that gap mentioned is AC/heating vents

Couple other things is it has a 12v outlet.
You can control the heated seats individually but there are no settings on them it's on or off and controlled by an internal thermostat if i read the manual right.
I have to drive it more but I dont think there is anything I want different on the car right now cept the muffler is weak sounding and maybe an intake...and a....

    Just kidding.

I will have the pics up in a couple hours.

How much weight difference is between an NB and NC?
