    SCCA Event #8 Results Posted (Thanks, general)


    Hmmm... guess we know who's picking up the MME HMTT (Holly's Miata Traveling Trophy) for this one, sammm...

    Though it looks like most of C Stock should consider taking up needle point... Yeesh... Over 400 cones between us... Yikes!

    I'm filing a protest! When I came off my last run, I heard the announcer state - That put's him in 3rd place in tire class. WTF?

    i got last im my class... but i was the only car on non r-compounds, and if anyone saw my tires, they were last forever compound, treadwear 430.....

    excuses, i know...

    eric, you beat that m3. great goin man, i bet he is pissed. he has a ton dumped into that car... it put down iirc 230whp when it dynoed last fall, and now he has more mods....

    and if you ignor the cone, I almost caught the faster guys in STOCK miatas...

    Excuse my ignorance Is the rent for the infield that expensive that even SCCA with all the money can only affort to have two events in the infield a year

    I think it's about $2500/day compared to mineral wells at about $300...

    rough numbers (as TMS you have to have onsite paramedics etc etc etc) but gives you a ballpark

    we rented it at 200 a day when i was at baylor, the baylor driving club... we even had acces to the cone trailer. we could almost do a miata day out there.... without insurance at least.. we signed waivers when we did it, not like anyhting was going to happen, only one car on course at a time etc...
