Honda hesitation...

The 93 Accord is hesitating horribly!

I changed the plugs but still no love. It wants to stall. It feels like its running on 3 or 2 of the 4 cylinders.

Any ideas as to why?

This just happened with my Miata. New plugs fixed part of it, but new wires were the final fix.

plugs, wire, distributor cap, make sure your timing isn't way off?

Distributor cap would be my guess.

I don't know anything about 93 Accords, but many older cars can get a crack in the hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter. This allows unmetered air into the engine, leading to lean out, hesitation, all sorts of possibilities. Often the crack stays closed at idle but opens under load as the engine rocks on its mounts. So if the air flow meter is remote this may be worth a look.

The distro cap would be my next guess. Moisture tends to condense in there in the cooler weather.

Fuel filter or water in fuel is another possible.
