I always wanted an LE. But with the wife laid off and with a Sr. in H/S jumping at the bit to go to college, Plus two Miata's in the stable already, I'll have to pass

Sweet deal man! I'd loose the Insaine Clown Posse steering wheel cover along with the wing....gonna assume those two together give us insight as to the mental health of the previous owner!

I'm sure if you post that wing on craigslist, ebay, or better yet the local rice forum it'll be gone quick!

ok so i actually started messing with everything anf it isnt turbo powered at all/.... kinda pisses me off but i can live with less speeding tickets.

second the reverse went out at lunch yesterday It simply will not shift into reverse.

I took off the spoiler and the trunk lid is because there was no support for the bolts it ripped through the metal.

soooo now i need a new trunk lid and rewire the stereo

So you got a Turbo car with the ultra rare Turbo delete option??

What made you think it had a turbo? You still got a decent deal, but did you not look under the hood or drive it before buying? Is the drivers seat in good condition?

Is it hard to get into reverse? What does it do?

this makes me sound like an idiot.
My dad drove it because I didnt know how to drive stick.
I have learned and obviously still learning.
So he didnt know the difference about turbo or not.
Looked under the hood but didnt know wtf I was looking for besides what wasn't on my old miata because i never messed with turbos before.

The shift stick would go into reverse on sunday morning and at lunch I tried to back out of a parking space. and it simply will not allow the stick to move into reverse. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th all work but I cannot get it into reverse.

Weird. Usually if the slave cylinder is going out it will be hard to go into reverse and first gear. I was just asking questions, I still think you got a good deal. HOpe you get the issues worked out soon!

It sounds like you might just need more experiance with a stick. Try letting the clutch out a little bit as you try to get it in gear. Some times they need to turn a little to get the dogs to line up. I can't remember if the title of the ad said turbo or not but Sharpies post certainly did.
