When they say "the Toyos" for the street classes, are they talking about the R888s? Just curious...

No Cayman or Boxsters in the mix (AS) but the GT3's seem to be doing well in SS.

I'm glad to see the Toyos doing well. I'll scratch that off the excuse list.

Cayman's are not competitive in AS, some Boxster S's (early models) are eligible and sometimes competitive in AS. The GT3 has always been competitive in SS (especially with Gary behind the wheel).

Kind of surprised by the R1R domination. Looks like STU is now boost buggy with spec Dunlop series. Interesting to see if that all changes with the AD08 coming out.

I see Gary didn't do as well behind the wheel of Jason's Viper in El Toro...But yeah you are right about the boxster's....just too heavy... at least that is what I gathered when we raced our 04 Boxster S.

There's nothing wrong with having some spec classes. It takes the car out of the equation and let's you see who the best driver is.

Besides, there was one '91 Civic in the ST(S) trophies at Nationals last year...

Wasn't talking so much about the car but more about the tire. At least with the other classes listed above some cars use K some use H etc.
