My ABS works....

Well on a slick piece of overpass I found out that my BRG ABS system works well.... I'm sure it kept me from sliding off the road like everyone else seemed to be....

It was crazy out there... picked up my mom and the in-laws in the heavy stuff tonight... everyone was aiming for the ditches.

Yeha, I ventured out for some Chinese take-out around 7pm. On the five-mile drive to the restaurant, I must have seen five vehicles in the ditch or being towed out.

Drove my route today. No problems for me. Just took it nice and slow.

Didn't see any accidents either.

me too, i even thought about putting the top down this evening when it was clear, but didnt want to risk the top cracking or somehting.

It was a FUN trip home

People don't know how to drive on the overpasses though... idiots...

They fly down 190 doing about 50-60mph then slam on their brakes and go 5 over the overpasses...

If they'd do a steady 35 or so and just let off the gas & coast over the overpasses they wouldn't have any problems.

Instead they hit the gas to go 5 MPH and end up sliding sideways in their SUVs.

I always like to do the math for them -

2 x 0 = 0 (2 wheel drive x 0 traction due to ice) = 0 (traction)

4 x 0 = 0 (4 wheel drive x 0 traction due to ice) = 0 (traction)

Now, if you add some intelligence to the equation you get better results (especially over overpasses!)
