    Default Carpet cleaning

Any recommendations on a company to use for home carpet cleaning? Any particular services you liked, or felt were unnecessary?

A lot of companies will give you one small room for free in hopes that you will love it and pay them for the rest. When I was in college, My roommates and I got 3 different companies to each clean one of the bedrooms for free, and then payed the cheapest one to do the living room and hallway. I have done the carpet cleaner rental thing several times, and each time I swear I will never do it again.

I was a Chem-dry carpet cleaner and I would still recommend them. The stain protector also will boost the efficiency of the cleaning solution.

I have a border collie, a jack russell, and 3 cats, all of them are "seniors". We own a rug doctor. Works great.

I have a long haired cat and purchased a Oreck Steamer. It does an adequate job, but not up to par with a professional cleaning machine. By far, it's the best I have used in the home machine market.

We just had Zerorez come out and do most of our house a few weeks ago. We're really happy with the outcome. had a few high traffic areas that really came out looking great. supposedly Zerorez doesn't leave any kind of soap residue on the carpet that helps to reattract dirt.

I used Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner. They were a little expensive, but they did a great job and I think it was worth it!

I think seattlebest must work for Stanley Steemer.

Hmmm... My carpets need cleaning. Do you think their service area includes Murphy Texas?
