Like everyone has said, I'm glad you are OK and it sucks about your car.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

holy shit! I talked to gary about this today. From his descriptions, i didn't imagine it to look as bad as it does. I see torn metal. good thing, is that it looks like your wheel/tire is fine and hopefully the suspension is, as well.

How did you end up westbound and his truck at the northwest corner, when he hit you on the right side? Did he drive over the left side and crush the right side or something?

    Wow, glad you are okay.

I hate asshats on cell phones while driving. They are not paying attention to anythign. They should start charging those morons with assault with a deadly weapon when they cause an accident and involuntary manslaughter if they cause a fatality.

Here ya go. Now you know what your life is worth. A Houston jury has agreed on the punishment for a woman convicted of causing a deadly accident after getting off her cell phone.
On Monday, Jeri Montgomery was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 10 years probation, given a $10,000 fine, and she was also ordered to make a $50 donation to Crime Stoppers.

Just a quick response. I actually ended up in the middle of the intersection facing the traffic light pole behind the fire truck. Before the fire truck got there a police officer did a visual on my car and asked me to try and pull it onto Renner behind the truck to clear the intersection.

Sucks to see this William, you've put a lot of work into that car. I can only see one picture at work, hope you're back in another one soon or fix that one.

Sorry to see that William......riding a bike forever has made me a very defensive driver, I always expect someone to change langes, run a light or do some other moronic thing.
Let me know if you have any questions once you start fighting the insurance co..

    The good news:

His insurance is accepting full responsibility.

    The bad news:

The car is a total loss.

    The good news:

I'm buying it back with a clean title.

    The bad news:

I wish the settlement was more.

    The good news:

According to Rogue it is repairable and Titus has many of the parts needed from his parts car.

    The bad news:

I will need another car once I settle with the insurance company as I will lose the rental.

    The good news:

I'm looking for a CHEAP Miata.

    The bad news:

None. I'm gonna have another Miata!

    The good news:

I'm alive with all my appendages still intact.

    The bad news:

My neck and back are killing me.
