That means I have to go buy some magnetic 'T's! Anyone know of a local place where I can buy some?

Yup... The STB sounds like TCSP to me.

If you want quality local numbers, give Larry a call at ProTape Signs. If you sweet-talk him, he'll probably meet you at the track with them on Sunday.

Lowes sells magnetic material, and then you can have your SO cut out a couple of "T"s for ya. Since I have an ideal you can't play with sharp and pointy things around your casa.

I'll be there still, rain or shine. I've seen a shower or two traipsing about Scotland the last few days, so a little rain won't scare me.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it or not. Whatever bug I caught has really kept me down. Unless this fever breaks tonight, I'm going to stay home and rest.

Much as we want you to come out, run TES, beat Hal, and have a great time, health is important. Get well!

Oops. Did I say beat Hal? I meant to say, "provide some competition for Hal..."

Okay kids, tell us the story.
I heard a nasty rumor of only 3 runs!

You heard right. The combination of first event of the year and good weather meant over 180 entrants yesterday, which translated into only three runs.

Still, I like the new format where all participants in a class run in the same heat, and once this and the new timing and computer systems are fully sorted out, I expect the events will run much smoother. And one positive thing can be said for only getting three runs - it makes getting a good run in early that much more crucial.

And you still can't beat the close racing at SCCA events - less than four hundredths of a second separated 1st & 2nd place in C Stock yesterday.

heh... sure if there's more than 3 cars in yoru class...

Showed up about 8am.. Worked the largest heat (all teh STS, STX, and T class cars) started about 4pm. I ran the 5th heat, 3 runs, maybe 5 minutes between each run. Barely enough time to drive back to the grid, adjust tire pressures, hop back in teh car and run again.

9 hours, 3 runs, less than 2 minutes driving, all in under 15 minutes

I'm not so keen on the new format personally....
