    Default Any mid December runs?

What about a nice mid December run for BBQ? Any ideas?

    Alright, back from vacation.

What location? How about that BBQ place we used to frequent a ton? I'll be glad to organize it as long as we can recruit an actual lead for the ride.

What weekend is good for most?

Not sure what you mean by run, but I'm in for any weekend events.

Wife will be in Japan all month, so I'll be a bachelor.

Run as in an organized attempt to herd Miatas and their owners from spot a to spot b via a nice set of back country roads that tend to be twisty but not high speed... a nice "brisk" pace, if you will.

(However, I must insist that all drivers obey the laws of the land. Management is not responsible if your silly ass gets a ticket or should you hurt yourself or others.)

So I'll start eyeballing the weather updates for this upcoming weekend of Dec. 12.

FYI – December 12/13 is the Eagles Canyon Toy Run weekend. Any chance of doing it a different weekend?

I'm gone 5th to 12th then at Eagles Canyon the 13th. The following weekend I'd be glad to lead a run thru Cresson thru Granbury thru Glen Rose to the Coyote Loco for some good bbq. It's a nice run I've done twice with LSMC. If I had been thinking ahead this would've been cool to do from Cars and Coffee Saturday. Maybe a run around Roberts to Tioga for bbq.

I'm busy on the 19th but could probably do the 20th or 21st.

19th or 20th works for me, but I'd prefer a Saturday over a Sunday (esp if we're going to leave from Cars & Coffee). How's the BBQ at Coyote Loco?

Cars & Coffee is the last Saturday of every month, so it won't work for either the 12th or the 19th.

Any additional information on this. It sounds like fun, and it's the only weekend of the month I won't be busy with my boys....

Well, we won't be able to move back any further.

So the choice becomes this: hit a parking lot full of cars that aren't moving or take a brisk run for some mouth watering barbecue with friends and counterparts while enjoying a nice December day.

    Your choice.

I'll take a run for bbq and catch the car show at a later date.

Guess I wasn't very clear earlier. Cars & Coffee has a huge turnout that starts earlier than 8am now. It peaks in size 9-9:30am and people start leaving around 10. If we left for a run from there, we could get to most any of the three bbq joints by 12-1p for lunch. And for those that don't want to get up so early, just meet up at a location near the car show at 10:30.

Personally I don’t care about C&C one way or another, but a couple of other people mentioned it in this thread. I just thought I’d point out that C&C isn’t an option on the two dates I’ve seen discussed so far.

I’d be up for a run, but not on the 12th or 13th, ‘cause I’ll be at ECR.
