I just sent my dad an email about the event. Hopefully he'll sign up too.
We are at 31 drivers. Unless the forecast makes a drastic change, we can count this as a go. It would be nice to have three-five more people in order to make work assignments easier and I am sure that we will get it before registration closes. We also have people driving in from up to six hours away! I am looking forward to this.

It is not just money -- you need a minimum amount for work assignments, too:
2 Course Setup
2 Timing Setup
1 Checkin
2 Tech
2 Starters
2 Grid
24 Corners (more at other times)
4 Timing
=39
We can get away without the two grid in a pinch, and I can short a few corners, if needed. However, it's hard on everyone else.

I learned this the hard way.....
Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.
Looks like we got 34, anyway. Woo-hoo!
