Best event I was at all day, all week, and all month.

Once jimmyjan got the brooms out, it was a decent surface.

Great turnout today! A very fun and challenging course. Great to see everyone and some new faces as well.

    RX8 Video

Video does not lie. I guess I was not as aggressive as I thought.
But you can hear the gravel.

Dang cone. Tried a new mic placement.

Well here was my last run. Still plenty of room for improvement though. The car felt really good with the soft dampening, but having it so soft really seemed to show how soft the spring rates were in the last slalom. Oh well, more to toy around with.

The video is of my 68.3XX (sorry about the wind, forgot to put my tape on top of the mic)

Great event JJ! It was good to get out there and autocross again after a month off.

The video is of my fastest raw time in the morning. I was 1.4 sec faster in the afternoon with a shift to 1st at the slow turn-around and no passenger (camera ran out of power). The car had a CR front bar, eibach springs and 225/255 Star Specs.

Yes, good work NTAXS guys! Did anybody else dislocate their shoulder on that last slolam?

My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

Nope. Power steering in Altiain's STX RX8. His car is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

It would be a great alternative to an STR NC.

Had a lot of fun out there yesterday! Tricky course, but it was fun in the afternoon once the gravel stopped. I should have some video up later today from Jerrett and I.

I enjoyed it as well. First time back at autocross since about 5 years ago. I was pretty slow but had a great time. I will work on getting faster, so you guys near the bottom had better look out I plan on heading to the middle at full speed

My last run 65.9, didn't see where I picked up the 2 cones. Surprisingly enough watering the tires helped a bunch at the end.

wow it looks like a pretty nice site! And the course video finally reminded me of a nationals style course layout. Wish I could have been there :-/

Here are our videos. This is the first time with the video camera so the mount location obviously needs work!

You thought the complaints about the gravel at Topeka were bad, I can only imagine what SCCA would say about it LSP. But yes the layout was similar to a nationals style course and the lot size is pretty nice, just need to get rid of that damn gravel.

The gravel seemed to abate a little in the afternoon, so there is hope that the surface holds together ok once the loose top layer is worn away. The venue hadn't been used for autocross an a few seasons, I believe, so maybe it'll "break in" and not end up like MW.
