Default Touring Tires 2010: "Before I pull the trigger..."

Time for me to buy some 14" Falken ZE912. (Pause for applause/laughter/crickets.)

Best prices are online (duh) so my plan was to buy there and then find a local shop for mounting and balancing.

Do any local shops (NTB, Discount Tire, other) do price matching? Would it be worth the hassle? I hate haggling.

Yup discount will price match. I usually order them have them delivered then take the rims off the car and throw them in a truck and have a place like wal-mart switch out the rubber for me. Works well and saves me a few bucks and I'm for sure on a budget.

Gabriel- Since you are not too far from me, you might want to try this little shop 1 mile from my house. He has done several sets for me and has charged between $20 and $40 OTD each time based on how hard it was. (IIRC... he charged me $40 when he had to work with the 17" runflats [wheels on the car], $30 for 15" R-Comps coming off and non R-Comp going on [wheels off the car], and $20 for non-R-Comp 15s [wheels off the car].)

10 bucks per rim for mounting AND balancing. If you just want mounting it's only 5 a tire.

Do you just print out the page from tire-rack for instance, and then just pay tax and mounting/ balance fees?
