Default Which is the best for the money?

Alright so these are the ones I'm looking at. Of course I'm not going to pay what they are asking, but as for the best bang for the buck which one would you pick?

    1. http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/1739213803.html cheapest to get to

    2. http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/1724349224.html 296 a ticket, 1,300 miles

    3. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/1758513747.html 164 a ticket, 646 miles

    4. http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/1726494512.html 220 a ticket, 1,300 miles

Add in cost of getting there also.

FL car sounds too good to be true. If it is real, it will be gone bore you can book the flight.

I'd find one locally honestly. There are too many things that can go wrong with a) a long distance transaction and b) driving back a long distance. What happens if you buy a 1 way ticket and then get there and the car's a dog?

There are too many miatas locally for you to be doing what you're doing.

Well the one in FL he said it needs a paint job and top from sitting in the sun alot in fl.

As for what I'm doing, yea thats what worries me about the one in Virgina, but I'm trying to see if a member from Miata.net will check out the FL one for me, and I can have someone check out the one in Austin for me.

As for the St. Louis one I know that one will need the timing belt and water pump replaced. But the top and interior are in great condition according to the owner.

FWIW be wary of cars with a Florida title, especially if it's a fairly recent FL title. You have no idea how easy it is to "clean" a title in Florida. When I lived there I was looking for a truck (still am, actually) and another Z. I can't begin to tell you the number of vehicles I looked at that had clean FL titles...but salvage titles in other states before they made their way to Florida.
