You going to just epoxy those cones in place since that seems to be the only finish you every do?

May help in reducing setup time.

It is good to see your driving some Mazdas rather then tearing up your mom's rabbit.

They both have two seats and a drop top right?

The rabbit has arrived in Wisconsin. If the tires (along with all the rest of my swag) arrive here before this weekend, I'm going to turn her loose on the Milwaukee Region this Sunday before I head back to Texas.

lug nuts tight, objects removed from the interior of the car, including floor mats, battery held down tight (not with rope), no fluids leaking, brake and gas pedals return correctly, accelerator linkage moves freely under the hood are the big items.

If you're concerned about your car passing tech, you might run by the Wed nite GTG (usually at Kellers). Any number of people who attend this could easily look and tell you if you're in "passing" condition.
To add to what goofygrin said, your car should basically be in good working order with no parts or fluids that are likely to fall off on course, leak on the course, or fly around the cabin and hit you in the head, so you won't go unconscious and drive over a course worker. The one item that many folks don't think to check is wheel bearings, but that's also pretty easy. Also, no cords showing on the tires.

I will unfortunately miss it. Feel pity for me as I will be sailing on a 40 foot Catamaran in the BVI's for a week.

I'll be number 61 again. Just ordered some magnet numbers with STR magnet too. Guess I won't need the STR at this event though.

Nope. Just numbers. We do not put classes on the cars.

What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
