I'll be there in ESP in a '99 Mustang Cobra. My girlfriend will be codriving Tommy Saunder's B-Mod Dragon in open class (not ladies).

    Stephen,

Glad to hear you found a ride. Which BMW are you driving?

I will be driving a 2001 330i in STX. Co-driver is out of Minnesota, and runs up here in Central Region (he was actually one of the drivers in the XP s2000 that was at the Texas National Tour stop). Not really sure if the BMW would be similar to anything else I have driven. Of course, I have had alot of experience running premium German sports sedans/hatchbacks.

Running in STX ain't like dusting tire class in D-stock, boy! Without precise calculations, you could fly right through a wall, or bounce too close to a cone and that'd end your event real quick, wouldn't it?

That must be Matt Murphy's car. Matt's a good guy. Tell him he still owes me a beer from the Fort Worth Tour.

54 entries in STX - second most popular class behind Super Stock. I really wish I could make it this year.

48 entries in STR - more than any other Street Touring class besides STX! I predict the SCCA will grant the class full status next year instead of leaving it a provisional class based on the overwhelming popularity it has shown this year. I know if I was in the class I'd be writing my letter right now asking for it!

SS is a little light this year with 58. We'll be there the whole week.

Hooray! I got a spot in the Evo school on Sunday. That will give me a reason to be there on Sunday, other than for Jimmie to be there for his work assignment.

I bet a lot of folks got it but weren't dorky enough to comment.
