Did you try to install it and get an error message?
I have Microsoft Office 2003 small office edition all 5 users are assigned.
How do I un-assign a user/computer so I can use the 5th licence for my new Dell?
My Garage computer is the 5th user so it is the one I'd like to kick off the island.
How would one go about doing this?
TIA

M3 is always the answer.
if you get an error when you try and activate it just call MSFT and they'll give you a new code. Typically you manage the licenses yourself.
It's real easy... When you go to install it, it wlll (or won't) pop an error. In the error, it gives a number to call. Call the number, tell them what you posted here, and they will activate it for you. Pretty much never a problem on the retail packs like you have. They'll just ask you where you currently have it installed.
