    Default WTB: Factory NB radio

Looking for a factory NB radio in good shape to put in my NA. I want the non-Bose, CD player unit.

I've got one out of my old 2000. Didn't have any issues when I parted the car. I'll pull it out and you can try it out. I'll bring it to Keller's if you want to pick it up.

Did you decide a MPSS wasn't in the cards?

I want an MPSS but they're hard to find and are expensive for what they are. Is your radio in good shape? How much do you want for it? And it should plug right in to my '90, right?

I am pretty sure the connections are different. Also the mounting method are deffinetley different. The NB uses a Ford style side clips on a frame where as the NA uses a screw in bracket.

I don't think it's worth any more than $30. It worked fine when I cut up the car. Cosmetically I remember it being in good shape, but I haven't looked at it for more than a year. And yes, it should plug straight into your car, but it doesn't control the headrest speakers the same way as the original radio.

My radio is the "2000 Non-Bose (4M32)" on this page:

No, the connectors are the exact same. To make it mount easily, you need to buy a Metra fitting kit, or modify the original cage that came with the NA. It should be quite easy for someone that can retrofit HIDs.

Yes. Not what you wanted? I've got a 2000 cubby also.

I have a double din NB radio but it's 01+ so it uses a different harness. I have the harnesses too. I was going to swap it into my 00, but I found I use the cubby a lot.
