Thread: AX School?

  1. #1

    Default AX School?

Thinking about having an autocross school hosted by LSC BMW CCA Possibly in early March. Any interest in the school as student or instructor?
    M3 is always the answer.

This might be good to send the wife to as she won't listen to me...so yeah and I'm even a member of LSC.

We can discuss that once we have a location.

Anyway, I am open to instructing depending, but it really depends on the date.

I would be available to instruct, but also possibly interested in having some people ride with me. Other points of view can only make me faster.

Texas Time Trials is going to be putting on an autox school on July 2. It will NOT be an autox 101 school. It will be for intermediate to advanced students. The curriculum will be similar to Evo School or Solo Pro, except at 1/3 the price!

    Giving this more thought.
What about a school and a social event?

    March 5
    AX school / car control 8am - 12pm, different exercises $60
Skill level basic to intermediate. Might have some instructors for more advanced students.
    Show and shine 8am - 12pm
Lunch (burgers / hot dogs) for everyone
    Open AX course
    Students unlimited free runs
Others limited to 2 runs for free to give it a try. Could purchase additional runs for $5.

    ^ I think that's a great idea.

I am willing to instruct, assuming anyone actually would pay to learn from me. I've got a little experience in teaching... :)

It is really depressing to think that is where all my experience is. If they also have a twin clutch gearbox then I would really know whats up haha

I would be down if it wasn't on the 5th...my anniversary. Come to think of it, I've been to one of these in the Civic, the year before I got married. Every year after I tried to go in the Miata, but they've all been on the weekend of the 5th.

I'd be interested as a student, but not sure if that date works for me, unfortunately.

I need this darn weather to warm up so I can work on my car.
