Note you do not need to sign up on-line if you use the Annual Registration
Wonder how many Annual Registrations they have recieved?
Annual registrations are merged into the list. To see number of annual registrants look at the April event (regular registration is not open yet for this so only annual registrants should be there).

Please help get the word out on the registration. I know some folks are going to be annoyed that its $10 bucks more to walk up register. (or I should rephrase that in that its a $10 discount to do paid registration before the event (online or mail in)). The better we know who will and will not be there the more efficient we can run the event.

    Regards

    John

oh and if you are annual registered and know you won't make an event please unregister yourself on the website(I believe that should work) or send me an email, so I can adjust heats and work assignments accordingly.

Well, I havent been to an SCCA event in a year or two, and I seem to remember the first event of the year being a pain in the ass, because of noobs and general teething problems. Either way Ill be there. Mcdonalds anyone?

Just a quick question, are work assignments decided by class still, or is it back to the old way of choosing. My alarm clocks setting could change drastically depending.

Hopefully jstankus will chime in with the official answer, but the goal of pre-pay is to pre-determine work assignments.

First: At the Februrary Board meeting we decided to start earlier
so be there earlier (I believe it was a half hour earlier, but don't have my notes Here)

Procedure for this year will be that the heats assignments will be determined by making sure we have properly trained folks at key positions. We will try to honor folks requests for positions, but are not guaranteeing that it will be in a specific heat.

My plan is to make initial heat assignments (and work assignments) once online preregisrtation closes. Hopefully I will be able to get them to Phil A. to post on the website at least the day before.

If you have special circumstances you can email me at [email protected] Please tell me who you are and what car and class you are driving, since I can only associate a few of your dfwmiata screen names with your real name and cars.

    Regards

    John

I'll be there when the door opens but have to get to working as soon as help arrives. Here's hoping for a good event. Counting season registering and pre regersting last night, there were around 80 or so signed up. I expect at least another 80 which gives us a good field working staff, and allows more runs...4 minimum. In fact, the goal is for 4 minimum all year, regardless of venue...

    McDonald's doesn't open until 7a on Sundays? That's pathetic.
