    Default 2006 mx-5 gt

Don't know if there is an interest in a 2006 MX-5 GT, Red roadster. 12,500 original miles. Purschased new from Hilley Mazda in January, 2007. All books and records. The only modification is a Racing Beat exhaust (direct bolt-on, the original muffler is in my storage shed). Comes with a short-shifter (not installed) and an MP-3 kit (also not installed). Always gargaged and never driven in foul weather. Also have the factory shop manual. $16,500 buys it now, but all reasonable offers will be considered. I hope I can attach the picture. (I don't have permission to attache the picture. email to:[email protected]) 817/337-9629 Tom Horn

Does it has 'sport suspension=yellow Bilstein shocks' and limited slip diff?

6-speed standard shift. It has a limited slip differential, but I can't speak to the suspension as I do not believe the shock absorbers are yellow. The MP-3 kit is still in the box and can be had seperately.

Somewhere I have the Maroney sticker, but it wasn't with the owner's manual , as I had hoped. The shock absorbers are black and the tires are run-flats. I'll browse the Miata web-site Owners' tab and see if they can't tell me how this particular VIN was equipped.

I thought the GT package was automatic grounds for Bilsteins and the LSD, especially being the six speed. At least was the case for my NC.

For 2006, you needed a Sport, GT, or LE to get the 6-speed . With Sport or GT, you could add the suspension package to get the Bilsteins and LSD. The GT also had the alternative of the Premium package. The Premium package included the LSD, traction control, HIDs, and some other stuff, but no Bilsteins. IIRC, the LE had the suspension package as standard.

yeah they changed the model packages quite a bit from 06 to 07 and up if I am not mistaken.
