Nice. I've always liked them too.

Saw an old 50's Rolls Royce the other day too. Didn't get a photo though.

One really nice elegant touch (which I didn't get a picture of) was the frameless vent wing glass, which was sealed by a simple brush and rubber gasket on the side glass. Very cool, very clean car.

Back when I was at UNT there was a junk yard on 377 that had two of these in shell form parked out front for sale. Wish I had bought one... so I could more than likely turn it into non-running sculpture that my mom bitches about because it's taking up space in their driveway along with my dad's awesome "project" cars.

    We can all dream, though...

Out at the GoodGuys show a couple of years ago, I saw a Packard Hawk, which was a tarted up Studebaker. I had never heard of one before I saw this one and it was perfect. Here's a picture of one like it: http://skoshi8.deviantart.com/art/19...Hawk-110372600 Note that the vinyl or leather (don't know which) upholstery from the inside door panel continues *outside* the window for a couple of inches!
