Wouldn't be a PCA event without a Fu*&%!*!*ing skidpad or two.

They are actually an excellent learning tool.

Agreed but they sure beat up your tires. Especially at MW. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO START ANOTHER MW/TIRE ARGUMENT

If you don't like the skidpads just skip them.

I was seriously thinking about signing up for the autocross.

Thanks for posting the course map - now I can sleep in that day and not waste my time instead.

As a setup testing tool skidpads are invaluable.

As a course element, they suck.

I'm assuming Al designed this course? He seems to have an unhealthy fascination with skidpads for some reason.

Tight skid pads, booooo. The rest of the course looks good. I don’t know if I am going to make it or not. The skid pads will not keep me away, but 100 deg weather may.

I'd make both days but I'll be in Austin Saturday, so I guess it is Skidpads for me. Robert, I have it on good authority you won't melt in the heat. You may just puddle a little

Sammm, I still stand by my assertion. As a course element, I firmly believe skidpads suck. Apparently I'm not alone.

I'm sure it's not the first time Jimmy has heard me complain about a course he designed. He's a big boy - he'll get over it.

I would make it but getting off at 5am Saturday and driving to MW to autoX in 100 degree weather than back to work at 5pm is starting to take its toll.

As long as I'm autoxing, you can put anything on a course and I'll still have fun. No jumps though. I'd have to switch suspensions.

I'm not a huge fan of skidpads as elements, but I wouldn't skip an event because of them. Some people don't like the optional walloms I love to use.

Its a little ironic that the people complaining are on-record as refusing to autox at MW at all, and don't usually run PCA events anyway. A little bored, guys?
