Default Quick Qusetion for 99 owners

I am going to start buying the exhaust pieces next month and have gotten conflicting answers about adding one piece at a time.

My plan is to start with the exhaust, then the midpipe, then the header.

Exhaust will be Roadster Sport 3
    Goodwin Midpipe
    Racing Beat power pulse Header

The question is has a 99 owner done this project one piece at a time and had success?
Some say the exhast matches up with OEM midpipe some say it does not,... I dont know since I have never done it before or known anyone who has.

At any rate I guess if I have to I can hold on to the parts til I have them all and then instal them all at once but I shure would like to put them on as I can aford to buy them.
    Thanks,
    Billy
p.s. I bet its gonna look pretty kewl all that shiny metal under the car too bad nobody will see it but me when I am under it....lol

Their only supplier shows to be BMP Design in Tyler Texas... their website looks to be full of just BMW stuff...

First I installed an enthuza muffler, a year later an FM midpipe, then after that a racing beat 4-2-1 heeader, then replaced the FM with a racing beat midpipe. So you can pretty much mix and match. Just think this way, the header fits to the stock mid pipe, and the mufflers fit to the stock midpipe, so the midpipe has to replace stock pretty close the exact.

Kewl the setup I mentioned is 2.5 inches tip to tip.
I cant wait to start getting the parts next month, I have been really looking forward to it.
    I appreciate the help.

curious,... why did ya change midpipes from FM to Racing Beat?

the FM was not resonated, and the cat had started to rattle. The RB with the big resonator, is much smoother sounding and quiter.

And his '99 still makes less power than mine (with nothing but an Enthuza axle-back exhaust) on the dyno. Draw your own conclusions. :P

yep, and they can get it iirc. call them, it blows any other exhaust out of the water in quality, and sounds super nice.

Billy, I love to take the header and midpipe off your hand at TCB price. My 99 has a CA emission and I am thinking converting it to Fed emission to gain a couple ponies. I want to stay in stock class.

Billy, do we have a detal?

Sure I think we can work something out.

Since I will be replacing one thing at a time though it may take a little bit for me to get the cash together, how quick are you needing the stuff?

PM me and I will shoot ya my phone # and such.
